I spent two weeks in "The Hole" in California, and my first thought was "no prob, I'll meditate and do yoga." Let me tell you, in three days I was at the brink of insanity and in tears. It broke me. Later, however, long after my incarceration and during the lock-downs, I was absolutely unfazed as a result. Let that sink in.

There's nothing wrong with Epoch Times as a news source, certainly nothing more biased & skewed than the New York Times.

Won't run on my MacPro laptop because it's pre 11. Boo!

Same.

I am on 10.14 because there are some 32-bit apps I can't replace (either because there are no 64-bit versions, for instance some old emulators, or because there are but they cost money, or there are but they have other changes which I don't like. MS Office is an example of both of the latter.

OutlineEdit 3 supports macOS 10.14: https://outlineedit.com/home.html

Just FWIW, I tried it.

It does work, but it's a little clunky IMHO. For instance, if you press Return in the middle of a line, I expect it to split the current paragraph into 2, but not in OutlineEdit (or Outlinely or OmniOutline).

Not older than the Bosnian Pyramid.

Recent events confirm that the only thing which has been reduced is the WHO's standards.

A wonderful idea, except for the "Benevolent Dictator" part.

there is not much to be dictatorial about, the gemini standard won't evolve and are designed to resist change. ( it's somewhere in the manifesto or FAQ )

It's kind of it "as-is", and not about the tech. But about being free from it and focusing on producting/consuming content in written form.

Sorry to be defensive, but I've been using a bringing writers to Gemini in the last year, and I never had to think about the governance of the protocol.

Maybe I'm wrong but I never crossed my mind.

Somebody has to be there to say "no" otherwise it would just turn into HTML-again v(._. )v

Or, just go with w3.css and be happy you have nothing to do with Jack Dorsey.

Snark aside, we haven't had anything to do Twitter for almost nine years. They don't do anything for or with Bootstrap :).

Awesome! Thank you!
