We've just released a new UI for our configuration tool. The process is now: 1) Select the services you want to integrate 2) Donwload the SDK which has been generated for you 3) Integrate SDK in your app. Should take <30sec to do that. We would love to get your feedback on the new version. Thanks!

Thanks. Currently we just have the consumer ones like Dropbox, Box, OneDrive etc. S3 for instance is on our roadmap. We'll also realease a feature, which allows you to add missing services on your own, out of closed beta soon.

Is there any cloud service / IoT device which you are missing?

Sonos would be the killer feature for me, but they don't really have a particularly well-documented API to wrap yet.

We'll have a look on the API.

Hipchat would be nice.

Is on my list now, thanks :) In general, CloudRail is community based. Means everybody can add new services to the system. This feature is currently in closed beta. If someone is interested, there is a button to apply for beta in the workbench.

Good idea! That's exactly the kind of feedback we need, thanks. We're working hard on new SDKs. iOS will be first, node.js right after it. Should be both in Q1.

I'm just curious. Is there any particular reason for focusing on the iOS SDK first? With the node SDK, one could immediately start work on server side applications, and potentially leverage tools such as browserify and react-native to start building applications on the web as well as iOS?

People were asking for it. We're developing both SDKs in parallel, but iOS is much further.

Thats the best reason to do it.

I hope so :)

Cool! I might be interested in contributing to the iOS SDK. Is it on GitHub? I couldn't find it on your homepage.

Sounds awesome. It's not on GitHub yet. Could you shoot me a quick mail to support@cloudrail.com please? Then we can follow up from there. Thanks!

Good point. Actually we started with cloud storage but then made the product generic. That is the reason for the name. But AWS, Google and Rackspace are on the roadmap :)

After a Java SDK, we have now Android as well. On top a lot of new connected services like OneDrive, Slack, Uber, Venmo, Stripe, etc. Open for any feedback!

I don't like the callback chaining.

Thanks for the feedback. How would you do it?
