You are very naive if simple blog spam articles like these influence you that much.

Actually, it's pretty naive of you to assume that this is the ONLY article that I might have read documenting Amazon's work culture. Moving across the country to work for a foreign company isn't the type of decision to be made lightly.

Amazon has a terrible reputation, as evidenced by this article as well as a simple google search for "amazon work culture". And that reputation is costing them talent.

That's all I was getting at...

For trusting blogspam, maybe. For putting stock in the comments elsewhere under this post, not so much.

What's with the article's font? Very annoying to read. Looks like a printer running out of ink.

Are you running it in Chrome/Windows?

If so: Chrome's font rendering uses GDI rather than DirectWrite and it leads to some very ugly rendering with certain web fonts. This is a known issue and they are working on changing this: https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=137692#c...

Yup, I am. Thanks for the info.

Haha, thanks for pointing that out. I'll play around with it after dinner and try to find something less annoying.

Yeah, I agree. Extremely pure choice of <p> color, given the white background.

zoom you browser in 10% (ctrl+). i get this issue on a lot of personal blogs and this always fixes it to some degree

How about "modular publishing platform"?

Hey thanks. That is certainly one of main ideas I want to capture while captioning the app.

On the downside, that is what all publishing platforms will claim to be. I might also prefer something a little less technical (omitting platform), yet not missing that aspect completely.
