you have a current US president who has never read the Art of War.
likely most company leadership, besides Hedge fund managers, have never read the Art of War either.
this results in management that lacks a strategic focus - they want to win the next battle (down in a valley, while giving the enemy an upper hand to be on the hill).
your infantry (low-level ICs) are smart and capable - and the org is actively pursing means to deskill them via some shit called (A.I) - your colonels (mid-management) are comfortable in their laurels since anyone who raises a voice is shown the door (hell most of them manage people now & don't fight anymore)
then you wonder why the country, the org is losing. but hey at least we posted a massive valuation.
Dot-matrix impact printers are still being sold and still have the lowest cost per printed page. The quality sucks, but for draft-only content (like LLM answers) that you're scribbling on it's not an issue. B/W laser printers are not too far behind though, just avoid brands like HP that gouge you on toner cartridges.
PostgreSQL and MariaDB are fully open-source, and non-US companies have had enough of US tech companies.
Assuming what you are seeing is true, I doubt it, MySQL is owned by Oracle so unless Chinese companies living in a cave, I doubt it again, and missed what Oracle has done recently, if you have a business and it is investing into MySQL, your business is set for failure in the near future!
base platform used - typescript - means for the average Joe out there - deploying is difficult - compared to php.
if they really wanted to be revolutionary - they would've made a single PHP script either on FrankenPHP backed by sqlite - single file deploy - with yeah a permission model Ala denojs for the security aspects.
hence the first department that goes into full throttle mode in any war - is the department of propaganda | press corps (as modernly called).
so we gonna see lies on both sides - Iranians | US / Israel. with the truth in between.
