Why does this only apply to Israel and not it's neighbors? Seems to me the current Israeli government is just as "jihadist" in their aggressive war efforts. Same could be said for some in the US government, Hegseth and Graham being two examples who talk about this conflict in apocalyptic religious terms.

A rose by any other name applies here. It is a war regardless of how the US government wants to legally dance around the term.

What if the things I don't like are anti-democratic? Like masked agents without warrants dragging people out of their homes and cars while ignoring federal court orders about using tear gas and other tactics? Or starting a war in the Middle East without consulting Congress and the American people.

The development environment was quite good. It did replication and permissions really well. Email was integrated into the workflow. The Domino server was excellent. But people seemed to like the Outlook interface much better and didn't seem to care as much for implementing workflows using email.

I don't recall the client having much crashing and unresponsive issues, but I do recall people finding the UI unintuitive compared to MS products, and of course the custom products built with Notes could vary quite a bit. But so does the web, particularly the early web.

But then you can say the same thing about people building Excel apps and that has been a selling point. Or Powerpoint presentations that people complain about but keep using.

Java became available as an alternative to Lotuscript on the backend, I believe in version 5, and Javascript was made available on the frontend around that time. Although maybe I'm thinking of the web version of the frontend.

If the goal of DOGE was really to reduce "waste, fraud and abuse", wouldn't a human be checking for false positives? If anything, mistakenly cancelling a grant sounds like waste or abuse.

It wasn't. DOGE was never anything but another grift designed to benefit administration insiders, with maybe - at best - a thin veneer of "reducing waste" to satiate the appetite of the gullible people backing all of this in the first place.

DOGE killed unknown perhaps millions of people around the world needlessly, ended careers, destroyed institutional knowledge and capabilities, and costed the US several billion $, prestige, soft power, and respect that can never be repaired.

Why would true crime be limited to that demographic? Lots of different people have an interest in certain crimes, particularly unsolved or controversial ones.

No one is saying that it's limited, just that it's the primary demographic that comes to mind when true crime is the subject.

What I learned is that true crime as a genre is different than the True Crime Community(TCC) which is a different demo and is associated with glorification of violence and one of the sources of enacted violence.

I guess we collectively forgot how idf used to kill Palestinians using autonomous mounted guns, illegally take over houses of Palestinians, rape people while raiding looting thier house(pardoned by court later on) and kill civilians without oversight.
