It’s incredible that such a critical “service” to the Internet, like history books for humans, is not backed by all states and companies. Without Archive.org and WayBack machine we are at the mercy of disappearing servers, domains, intentional removals… that’s what is happening. It is like burning books. Supporting it is a must but i fear that will not be enough.

Yes, I agree. Your words motivate me, thank you. We have to do our best to win this legal issue, which belongs to all people. We cannot allow the burning of content at this point in human history. Archive.org is collecting signatures and letters of support here: https://change.org/LetReadersRead

Renzo Davoli was my professor at the University of Bologna, Computer Science. A real nerd that shaped my systems thinking!

I agree with you, however we need to experiment and a ready API without all the setup costs for VM and updates would be the best choice at the moment.

Is there an API? Can it be used with control net?

I've been looking for such a solution but for class diagrams. Auto generating from code and edit them in draw.io. Do you have any suggestion?

I love the "spatial" term, it was in the air..

My bet, or wishful thinking, is that lower-fi spatial augmented experiences can be more fun and engaging when "shared" with our senses. Maybe also cheaper :D

You need a second "honeypot" safe to handle that sotuation.

'Not this one, I'll open the other one for you.'

Honeypot safe only works if the real one is well concealed. So then it's only worth having if it's somehow known/assumed that you have a safe at all. (Otherwise just leave it well-concealed and you can say 'I don't have a safe, there's some cash in my wallet and a little jewellery in the bedroom' just as effectively as 'Here is the safe it is definitely the real one'.)

Your time would be better spent preparing for the day you will be hit by a meteorite.

It does depend who you are of course, but yes I think we're in agreement?

I think people that require that level of security don’t run around talking about it. I could be wrong…

I keep only semi-valuable documents in the honeypot safe. Things like flex spending account receipts, password to my personal github account, and free car-wash vouchers.

I think, you should remove the car wash vouchers, if serious.

I believed your safe could be real, until I read that heh.

Affordable amount of cash in one seems most logical solution. And maybe some dress jewelry. Easy enough for burglar to grab and run away, without too much damage on anything else.

Which switches models? Zigbee? I am still fighting with them (unflashed at the moment)

I'm using the S31's. Fairly easy to pop open and flash if you've got some alligator clips and one of those flash programmers (eg https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075N82CDL/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b...).

Hello! S-ARKADE creator here, I didn't expect our pre-launch landing page to be on HN now, anyway thank you!

We've been building a simplified projection-mapping system to create an arcade game level (vertical or horizontal walls and surfaces) using existing structures as platforms: windows, shelves, frames.. That is quite crazy and fun to play together, party-game style, especially on large surfaces like house fronts. We'll be deploying games inspired to the 80s arcade mechanics, as well as other kind of experiences, fully configurable.

Any comment, idea, suggestion is really appreciated, we are going live on Kickstarter end of September.
