I'm not saying it makes it right, but for every one of these, there are a dozen right-wing sites saying similar or worse things about minorities. Some people were assholes on the internet. Nothing to write home about.

But the premise was not "the root balances the scales of alt-right internet injustice"; It was "the root is not an appropriate source". Those other dozen right-wing sites are also inappropriate source material, whatever the quantity/rarity.

Fair enough, but your original point was about their use of the word "white" probably just being informative. Given their agenda, it seems unlikely to me.
