For a full featured ecommerce provider you typically pay 5 to 10%. Hosting costs for a commercial software vendor are pretty trivial. 30% is taking the piss.

Avoid PayPal then, with their screwed up antifraud data mining. Everybody else should be glad to process your money and take their commissions.
