Any chance that the Servo renderer could leveraged for cross-platform GUIs as an alternative to Electron?
I don't know if there would be any meaningful benefits over Electron, but I can see why it might be attractive to build everything in Rust. Seems like you could extend Servo with features required by your app, too.
I've certainly been following Servo, and there are bits here and there where we've tried to share infrastructure, but ultimately we're making some pretty different decisions, mainly not to base things on Web technology so much, but align more with capabilities provided by the platform.
