Years ago I was writing a utility called Cookie Toss, that would go through a user's cookies and save all the tracking cookies to a database while replacing them with a random assortment of other peoples' tracking cookies.

I had a limited working demo for Firefox, but then was unceremoniously warned that I would end up sued by every ad company targeted, and the costs to me would become insurmountable.

So it was a great idea while it lasted. Maybe some random anonymous person will take the idea and fly with it. They're welcome to the clever name, too.
