We all have noticed google search's performance has degraded (see https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=26460092). Maybe if their incentives were aligned towards providing good search (what they had in 2012) instead of selling ads, we could get great search. Could be a subscription service like Netflix.

Seriously, I'm willing to pay for this. Ad-free of course. What do you guys think?
