We've also had a HUGE influx of fake accounts in the past couple of months claiming to work for our company. According to LinkedIn we have 243 employees! In reality, we have 23. Is there employment verification on LinkedIn at all? They don't go back and check everyone's references, their listed university, skills, or certifications, do they? I think as with resumes, it's really easy to lie, and it's up to others to cross-check things.
