Sakamoto's album Async from 2017 had some very funeral-esque songs (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Async_(album)#Worries_of_death), the songs Life, Life and Fullmoon have some really moving spoken word prose about mortality. It's a strange feeling to only begin to get to know a virtuoso artist when they are in the twilight years of their own career. A good reminder of how fleeting time is and how we ought to treasure any happy moments we do have.
