Greppability is an underrated code metric
Honestly, in my 18 years of software development, I haven't "greped" code once.
I only use grep to filter the output of CLI tools.
For code, I use my IDE or repository features.

Do you use the find feature in your IDE? IE not find by reference, just text matching? That's the same as greppability.
