Mac OSX 10.3 and 10.4 looked beautiful and positive, and you could guess where the scrollbar was in the spot.

On PearPC, I could emulate it back in the day under an AMD Athlon 2000 at usable speeds by setting down the emulated screen refresh to 10 FPS or such.
