I'd have been much more interested in a take that reversed the causality. For a bit now being a nerd has been cool — are we witnessing the reversal of that trend now nerds aren't the underdogs?
(Not that I think many people consider Tate cool either — GenZ has its own subcultures that don't align well with the 80s American jock/nerd divide.)
